Emergency Backpack for a Child
The backpack should be lightweight and waterproof. The contents may vary depending on the age of the child and the time of year. The main thing is to update it in a timely manner.
- Documents (birth certificate, insurance);

- Set of dishes (cup, utensils, plate);

- Individual set of necessary medicines (if the child is allergic, then antihistamine, for asthma, dermatitis, and other diseases, appropriate medicines. Take everything with a margin. You can also put an antiseptic, Bepanthen, antipyretic syrup, cotton wool, Smecta, a broad-spectrum antibiotic in the form of a suspension, vasoconstrictor nasal drops, bandage);
- Favorite toy or thing (pacifier, favorite blanket).
It is better if everything is packed in ziplock bags. The most necessary should be easily accessible. You can split the first aid kit and snacks, put some in the front pockets and some in the main compartment.
Instructions: Before leaving the house, you need to have an explanatory conversation with your child without panic. Briefly tell them about the situation and your next steps with them. Answer questions that your child may have. Show the safest places in the apartment in advance. It would be good to conduct an emergency training session with the child, show them where to go on the street if their parents are not around.
